●Why I choose the 7 lessons●
1. How did you pick the 7 lesson from the menu?
I picked "favorite numbers" because I want to know what number classmates pick and why. I think it is interesting thinking about the reason. And also I'm interested in whether people change the favorite number depend on their circumstances.
2. How many of your 7 choices did we pick as a class? How did the results make you feel?
4 choices were picked as a class. But also other choices of mine ware choosed many people, so I think my classmates have similar idea.
3. Was the menu system easy to use? Why?
I think this system is 10. I can use it very easily without stress. Also I think it is good that we can see the results immediately.
⚫︎A boy named sue⚫︎
He loved Mary but she didn't like him.
He gave all things to her but she didn't accept that.
He called every night but she rejected to answer.
Sue loved her, she hated him but he didn't notice her feeling.
"I give everything for her, but why does not she do that for me??"
He ran, cried in rain.
One day, Sue got a traffic accident.
He became a person who could't do anything forever.
After that, Mary noticed how Sue loved her but nothing could be done.
She tried to give all things but Sue didn't accept that.
She called him every night but he didn't answer.
They couldn't be together during all their life.

●Unknown Monster●
"Roc" is a monster like a massive bird. So it wakes up on a tree. And then the monster goes to look for foods. When it finds an big animal like an elephant, Roc grabs and drops the victim from deadly heights. Then it enjoys its lunch. As how to eat, it prays upon the carcass. After that, it is hard for the monster to fly in the sky because it gets heavy with its lunch. So Roc takes a nap perching on the branch for two or three hours. After the nap, if the monster is a bit hungry, it goes hunting again. But as birds, roc's eyes are not good at darkness. That's why the monster stops hunting before it becomes completely dark. Roc doesn't have a home tree, so it finds a good perch to sleep day by day. And after finding it, Roc has a good dream.

●Semiotics Final ●
My favorite number is 5. I have liked this number since I was a child. It's because this number is related with my birthday. I was born on May 5, 1995. So I feel special with 5. It is a lucky number for me, I think. Also I like 1, 4 and 7. 1 means first, the begging of the thing, and sometimes means a victory or a championship. That's why I think 1 is cool number. Next, 7 is a lucky number as you know. Why is it regarded as like that? There are some origins. For example; in the Bible God makes the world for 7 days, so people think that 7 express perfect. And as other reason, it is in a baseball game. The seventh inning is a best chance to score because a pitcher get tired with throwing over 100 balls. So 7 is regarded as good luck. Last, in Japan 4 is associated with unfortunate. This is because sound of 4, "shi" makes Japanese think "死"; "death". But when I was a child, my friend said to me 4; shi is a first sound of the Japanese word "幸せ"; "happiness". This opinion is impressive, and I like this idea.
In this way, human give the meaning to the each number. For example, in Europe 3 means "harmony". For native Americans 4 is lucky number meaning "complete". In hong kong 6 is regarded as "forever". And Japanese think 8 as lucky. However the meanings which numbers have are different depend on countries or areas. It's because cultures are different, religions are different and ways of thinking are different. It is by human beings that meaning of number is made.
In the other hand, thinking as individuals, it can be happened that meanings of number change like my experience of meaning of 4. If when a person gamble, he or she lose much money with specific number, he or she might dislike the number by bad memory. Or when a person pass a examination, he or she might think their identification number as lucky number. Also, there is a culture that continuity of same number is good luck in Japan. It makes us feel special thing.
In conclusion, it is interesting that people get meanings from number. Number is made by human to count something. But we give different meaning to it. As just number, it can be shared all over the world. We can count in the same way by using number. However it is different that how to regard number as. I think number to count is symbolic, but other meanings of number are indexed. Difference of the meanings depends on culture or religion. If it's Christianity, the images of number come from the Bible. Also, the meanings sometimes come from just sound in the country's language, for example; Japan. That's why I think it will be helpful to understand the meaning of number to interact with foreign countries people and make good relationships with them.
